My name is Dharmesh — founder of Zilly, and just like you. One question always bothered me: when I pay a business, why doesn't the full amount reach them?
Other platforms sit in the middle and take 25–30% as commission. That means either the business loses money, or your cart gets more expensive. Everyone loses.

A Businesses Owner's frustration became our foundation. It started with a simple observation. Businesses in India were working harder than ever — but every time an order came in through a big delivery app, nearly a third of their earnings disappeared as commission before they even touched it. The all products got expensive. The Business owner got less. And the customer had no idea. We talked to owners — restaurants, kirana stores, vegetable vendors, sweet shops. The same story, every time: "We work hard, but the platform takes too much." There was no local alternative. No platform built for smaller cities. No one who understood the ground realities of Tier 2 and 3 India. So we built one. Right here, in Haldwani.
Why we exist "Every local business deserves a platform that works for them — not one that takes from them."
